As awesome as the wild coastal terrain of the GoChiMor Trail is, it’s nevertheless an inherently hazardous environment and accidents can happen. If you’ve never been on the Trail before or you aren’t familiar with the area, we highly recommend you take a look at these videos first to get a good idea of what is involved before making your decision to participate.

Terms and Conditions of Participation

1. The GoChiMor Trail organisers and/or agents, and/or employees ("Gochimor") do not accept responsibility or liability for:

any harm, injury, damage to any person; and
any harm, losses (including theft), damage, fires to personal property; and
the safe custody of or damage to any vehicle or articles therein; and
any loss of support to any person; and
any intentional or negligent act of its organisers and/or agents, and/or employees; and
any damage due to any collision, fire, theft, rain, hail; and
claims of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising from or connected with your participation on the GoChiMor Trail event and whether or not such claims are caused by act or omission of GoChiMor or anyone else involved in the staging and hosting of the Trail event.

2. All photographic or video material of participants made by the organisers or their assignees during any activity deemed to be part of the event, shall be free for use by the organisers and/or their sponsors in any promotional material relating to the event at any time in the present or future.

3. By submitting this registration form you agree to be added to our database to receive important communication updates via WhatsApp, e-mail or sms from us regarding this event and future similar events. Your personal data is stored and used in terms of our Privacy Policy.

4. The event will take place regardless of inclement weather and will only be cancelled, re-routed or stopped for reasons of safety. The event takes place outdoors and weather, flooding, fire and outdoor elements cannot be predicted by the organisers. The Trail Director has the right to stop the event at any time and his/her decision will be final. This will be for your own safety. If the event has to be stopped for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, the participant will not be entitled to a refund.

5. We do not normally give refunds on confirmed entries. Refund requests will however be dealt with on their own merits and, if any, will depend on length of written cancellation notice received before the event and our ability to secure payment for another participant from the waiting list. Please note that we may charge a reasonable cancellation fee, if the refund request is approved.

6. A cash deposit is required to secure your request for a place on the trail. Your entry will only be finally confirmed once payment in full is received.

7. Right of admission is reserved.

Indemnity Form

By submitting this registration form I, {Name (First):1.3} {Name (Last):1.6}, for myself, my executors, heirs, administrators and assigns do hereby release, indemnify and discharge the GoChiMor Trail organisers, crew members, agents, landowners, any and all sponsors, any and all volunteer groups, and all local authorities from all claims for injuries, damage or property loss I may suffer caused by negligence of any of them and arising out of my participation in this event, including pre- and post-trail activities.
